Qeeboo To Launch Extraordinary New Objects by Marcantonio, Studio Job & Stefano Giovannoni at Salone del Mobile in Milan

Qeeboo, the Italian design brand founded by renowned designer Stefano Giovannoni, will launch its latest collection of extraordinary objects during this years Milan Design Week. Featuring new designs by Dutch/Belgian duo Studio Job and Giovannoni himself, the brand extends its list of contributors with the arrival of  celebrated Italian artist/designer Marcantonio. 

'Giraffe In Love' Floor Lamp (4M Version) by Marcantonio

Standing 4 metres tall, Marcantonio's 'Giraffe In Love' floor lamp is a true show stopper. Originally introduced as a limited-edition piece during last years Design Week, this new iteration is produced from polyethylene and features a waterproof/windproof chandelier, making it ideal for both indoors and outdoors.

In addition to the large-scale design, Giraffe in Love is also available in a further two models - an XS Miniature version at 100cm tall (an exact reproduction of the full-scale design) and wall version at 173cm, both allowing for a more realistic addition to living spaces.

'Teddy Boy' Lamp by Stefano Giovannoni

Stefano Giovannoni re-imagines the childhood teddy bear and gives birth to a new pop icon. Tender and fun, the table lamp is available in two versions - Teddy Boy and Teddy Girl - both presented in an array of finishes and colour ways. "Teddy Boy and Teddy Girl wink at the old toy with an irreverent attitude that mixes the bear’s traits with ‘almost human’ features,“ explains Giovannoni.

'Empire' Floor Lamp by Studio Job 

Inspired by Studio Job’s 'Robber Baron' bronze sculpture from 2008, the 'Empire' floor lamp expresses Job’s fascination for landmarks and their meaning. “It speaks of the meaning of iconic buildings in our culture and the power that is housed within these huge buildings or landmarks” explains Job Smeets

'V2 Schneider' Table Lamp by Studio Job

Inspired by a 1977 David Bowie song, named after one of the co-founders of Kraftwerk, the rocket is a familiar shape with hints of the iconic lava lamp with its glowing light. "This streamlined rocket is a part of the historical inheritance of our generation from WWII, and now it is presented as a table lamp in true Studio Job fashion," adds Smeets.
