Elena Salmistraro's New Lighting Collection Takes Its Cues from Miami's Art Deco Movement
Italian designer Elena Salmistraro will launch a collection of Art Deco-inspired pendant lights during this years Milan Design Week. Titled Miami, the collection is comprised of three graphic pendants that evoke the opulent mood of Miami in the 1930s. Produced by Italian lighting brand Torremato, the collection combines metallic elements and decorated glass, whose interweaving acts as the soul and body of the lamps themselves, creating a perfect balance between aesthetics and function.
