In celebration of its 70th anniversary, Swedish furniture producer Swedese collaborated with Nudie Jeans on a limited-edition interpretation of its iconic Lamino chair. Since 1956 a staggering 300,000 Lamino chairs have been produced by skilled craftsmen at the Swedese factory in Vaggeryd, Småland, Sweden. For the collaboration Nudie selected sustainable materials that would age beautifully with time. The frame is made with untreated birch veneer, with a few layers of orange coloured veneer in-between - an ode to the orange stitching of Nudie’s own selvage denim. The seat has been interpreted in three different variations: a dry, 100% organic Kaihara selvage denim; a pre-washed, hand treated selvage denim and a natural leather option. Lamino by Nudie Jeans is available directly from the Swedes website.
